Answers (most of them) are at the end.
Thursday turned out to be the best night for us to go out for trivia this week, so “just the two of us” decided to use up some of our leftover prize money and go to McShane’s.
There were lighter crowds than usual on this night, but there was some great competition in the room!
Sadly the Ypsi Starlings Rugby trivia team was absent on this night. In their normal spot in the room was a team called Our Table Now with 7-8 people on it who seemed to dominate the night – they had highest score at the halftime, highest score going into the final, and they took a first place/$30 prize.
Also in this mix on this night was team King Cobra, whom we have battled in trivia games previously at local tournaments, and at former trivia spots Buddy’s Pizza and Maplewood Lanes.
We never like things to be too easy, so having to work for our $20/second place prize was just fine with us!
Our host Stacy was trying something different by having the questions displayed on a tablet that she carried around to show the teams after reading the questions.
That proved to be quite handy – especially if I wanted to know how a French guy’s name was spelled for a question in round five!
Still, I did not copy down the questions word for word, so the ones you’ll see here will be abridged.
