I’m hearing that an informal “memorial” is happening at McShane’s Pub in Ypsilanti Thursday, September 17.
A gathering of his comrades from the Transport Union Local 171 will be in attendance for the trivia game happening at 8 pm.
He worked as a motor coach driver for the Ann Arbor Transportation Authority, and was reportedly the most senior employee with the company.
A truly fitting way to honor the memory of a man who lived, breathed and snorted trivia when it was ground into a fine powder. I’m just joking about that last thing. There is no snort-able trivia. Yet. 🤔
It’s very likely to be a full house for this, but I plan to be there if I can get a table.
I’m passing on these details second hand via word of mouth.
