We altered our trivia plans Tuesday night so that we could play at a trivia spot that previously had been one of the favorites of Francis, a longtime trivia player who recently passed away 😢

So just the two of us tried our best at trivia dominance at McShane’s Pub, but did not manage to win a prize.

Two relatively unknown teams did walk away with prizes, including one who showed up late and was in dead last going into the final question.

As a fan of “Dodgeball-esque” underdog successes like these, this brought a smile to mine and my husband’s faces on this hot ‘n sultry trivia night!

Mike was embarrassed that he didn’t know this. when host Stacy learned this, she said “What? I stumped you on a Norse mythology question?” We had to use our freebie slip here 🙄

Entrepreneurs – What game designer along with Don Kay founded Tactical Structures Rules Inc. in 1973? To make up for our previous duh face, Mike wrote down this answer quickly and even walked up the slip!

Representatives – What state did Davy Crockett represent in the US House of Representatives? Miss.

Awards – What Disney film was recognized in two consecutive years at the Academy Awards – once for its music, and another time for an honorary award? Another miss.

Round Six

Beer – What do the letters IBU stand for in beer parlance?

80s Music – What Canadian artist had a #7 hit in 1984 about having to wear a certain kind of lenses after dark?

Ingredients – What pork product is commonly used in a BLT sandwich?

Final Question Category: Toys
