Anyone have tips for extracting a hard drive from an old iMac? We just want to recycle the unit, but the hard drive needs to be gone per the owner’s request. Resorting to violence is OK, the hard drive just needs to be out and will not be replaced. I’ve tried being nice with the proper screwdrivers, but the darn thing just doesn’t want to budge. I’m ready to resort to gloves, safety glasses and a pry bar.
