We haven’t been out for a “regular” (non music) trivia game in more than a week now 😲

That dry spell ends… tonight!

I’ll actually “allegedly” have three players for tonight’s game!

It’s a player who hasn’t been available for Tuesday night games, which we played for the past three months or so.

It will be a My Trivia Live game at a spot we have played frequently in the past.

I wish that there was a way that I could get all four of us OG players on the same night each week! But we all have personal lives and caveats, don’t we?

I was hoping to get ’em all together for the upcoming Globe Game, but…nope. One guy can’t play Saturday games, the other can’t play Sunday because it’s Father’s Day. Thankfully I found a fourth player outside our roster to step in to help!

In other news, I’m currently having a bit of an existential crisis if sorts about my future music quiz trivial pursuits. The host has decided – without consulting or polling his regular players – to stage all of the music quiz games outside. As long as it doesn’t rain.

While I don’t mind sitting outside for the games when it is pleasant outside, I’m not going to be happy sitting outside if heat and  humidity levels are excessive. Not to mention spotty WiFi in some areas of the beer garden! 😩

I sincerely hope that he makes such judgment calls accordingly. I don’t want to have to start begging out of Monday games because of this. But I’m not risking my health for trivia!

As it is next Monday, I’m not likely to go out for Monday’s game. But because of work, not weather reasons.

I understand that his reasoning for wanting to play outside is because the increased space allows for more teams which means more money for his paycheck.

My trivia pardner is an addict for music trivia, and has said she’ll power through the outdoor games.

I’m not quite sure my trivia addiction matches hers on music quiz nights! My real trivia love is of the  good old “general knowledge” type. I am hard pressed to be much of a help on most Sporcle Events music quiz nights. Most questions skew too current for my older musical tastes!

We’ll see how it goes on a weekly basis…
