If the questions we’ve had in the past couple of virtual trivia games are any indicator? We know an unhealthy amount of things about junk food! In a recent mystery round, we were quizzed about snack cookies/crackers – and more recently, we aced a question with a bonus point attached about candy bars. Topics that still stump us are the multiple varieties of Mountain Dew, fast food burger varieties and the many flavors they’ve made for Doritos chips. Guess we’ll have to work on that, huh?
I don’t think we’ll ever have a trivia question about Paramount potato chips! This was a largely localized brand of chips known mainly in the mid Michigan area between the 1960s up until the early 1990s, when apparently they lost the great war of shelf space supremacy to the goliath chip makers Frito Lay. Its mascot was Slim Chiply, the “Flavor Deputy.”
Here were our questions:

8 Science Firsts -In 2014, the European Space Agency confirmed that its robotic lander Philae touched down on the surface of what type of celestial body? It was the first landing of its kind. Usually these kinds of questions are totally Mike’s territory, but I made the right guess on this one (woot)!
