We may have missed the final question about competition shows in a recent virtual pub trivia game, but wagering zero on it allowed us to move up a little in the rankings! Sigh…when will they make REAL competition shows worth watching? Is there anyone else out there who’d watch a Black Friday inspired competitive shopping show where customers have to strongarm each other for the hottest selling items – like video game systems, Bluetooth karaoke microphones, flat screen TVs, Fondle Me In My Special Place Elmo dolls and 12 days of socks novelty socks? Oh yes, let’s not forget air fryers and air fryer combo units that air fry your food, pressure cook your food, pulverize your food into submission all the while playing your favorite Spotify tunes?
Maybe Black Friday shopping competitions aren’t your thing. Maybe it’s too tame for you – and you want to watch a “Most Dangerous Game” inspired competition show where people are dropped on a remote island and have to fight in a wilderness setting for their survival while being hunted by cannibalistic psychopaths. Is this too dark for you? Well then – there are still plenty of competition shows already available for you to watch! Is “Cake Boss” still a show? Yes, I’m pretty clueless about competition shows! It seems they’re all about cooking, dating,or singing/dancing and possibly Lego building. Bo-ring!

There are three people who have served as a judge on American Idol for exactly one season—Ellen DeGeneres and what two singers, who both joined the show for the twelfth season?
I think we moved to third or fourth by wagering zero on this.
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! I’m happy, of course, that I don’t have to work! Hopefully that trend of department/retail stores being open on Thanksgiving has passed (ugh). As always, Go Pods, and stay classy, Mariah Carey! I have a story involving Mariah Carey. A co-worker told me that her young daughter cried whenever she played Mariah Carey songs, and I said to her, “Well, that’s a smart daughter you have there.” So I simultaneously insulted her taste in music (sorry not sorry) AND complimented her daughter. She didn’t know how to react!
