I filled out an absentee ballot today for first time since 1994 when I was in college (I think with a heavy conscience I voted for an ambulance chasing lawyer for governor, lol). But that may have been a different year, hmmmmm… Even though my polling place isn’t likely to be too busy for a primary election, well – why not? My clerk’s office is just a couple of miles away. Because of the pandemic still not even close to showing any signs of releasing its kung fu grip on us, why go out and stand in line if you don’t have to?
I guess the only things I’ll miss about not voting in person will be smelling whatever delicious dinner was made in the church kitchen of my polling place – and also not getting an “I Voted” sticker!
