We’re now eight weeks away from the finish line of the Sporcle Events season.

Currently, we’re waging our weekly trivia battles Mondays (music quiz) at the Corner Brewery, and Tuesdays (general knowledge trivia) at Red Rock Barbecue. Both spots are in Ypsilanti, which some of you might know is the “water tower city.”

Funny thing is, my workplace has “blackout dates” in effect for the weekend of the Globe Games in June! I know I’ll find a way to work around it. Though I can’t officially put in a time off request, I can attempt to do so unofficially by hand writing a note and talking to her. Which I will do.

My boss is quite flexible, so I’m sure it won’t be a problem.

One of her first official duties when she took the reins at my workplace was to change my schedule – on a Saturday – so that I could go to a trivia tournament finals!

It was a tournament I was not expecting to qualify for, so I didn’t bother to request it off. 

My Trivia Live games are still on hold for now unless I get a random Thursday off and get to use the car!

With my husband being committed to Tuesday night trivia games, asking him to tag along for a Thursday in addition to that is a tough sell! He’s just not as into trivia as I am.

Hey, I’m not complaining! I’m happy to have him at my side for as many trivia games as he’s willing to come out to play.
