My Ongoing Unhoarding Adventures (2022)

There was an electronics recycling event happening at a local library today, so I jumped at the opportunity to load up my trunk with some junk!

I packed up an old dehumidifier, an old desktop CPU, an old vacuum cleaner, and a box of some random small electronics – mp3 players, phones, laptop, non-working solar radio/flashlight.

I was especially excited to be able to get rid of the vacuum and dehumidifier, since there is a fee for taking these to a local recycling facility. What I wasn’t so excited about was forcing the vacuum to fit nicely in my trunk!

When it was over, the nice people unloading this said, “Thanks for stopping in!” I said, “Thanks for offloading me!” Was this nicer than saying “Thanks for taking my old junk?”
