I’ve revived a blog “tradition” that died for a couple of years in a row because of the pandemic. Or maybe it was because I was too lazy to do it? And that “tradition” is determining Oscar winners by using probability! Or die rolls, specifically!
I haven’t seen too many of the 2021 nominees on this Oscars “eve.” Nightmare Alley and Free Guy were the only ones I’ve seen so far.
To view other blogs I’ve done on this crazy subject, click here: wordpress.com/posts/hebontheweb.blog?s=Oscar+predictions+die+rolls
I used a 10 sided die to pick the best picture winner, and a six sided die for all other winners. In the cases of rolling 6, I rolled until I did not get a 6. Hey if you can think of a better way to pick Oscar winners, I’d like to hear it!
