After nearly a week of “the sick,” I’m FINALLY feeling much, much better today!

I’ll be heading out to play a trivia game solo tonight at Original Gravity for the first time since May 23. I’ve been cooped up a bit, been staying home and “trying” to go to bed early like a good girl, and have only had TWO beers this week! Yes, I’m serious about trying to cut back a bit! It got to the point that I was drinking every night of the week, and that’s…gotta stop. Even if it’s a bit painful and makes it difficult to sleep. Push your body enough and eventually it…starts pushing back. Just call me “Moderate Molly!” Uh, yeah….

Now that I’m feeling better, I’m going to cash in on my “me time!” My husband got to have his “me time” by going to a happy hour Tuesday, I want nothing more than a trivia game with NO distractions, no complaining (ahem), and NO talking me out of correct answers! In Wednesday’s game, I was talked out of Arkansas as a possibility for a state bordering Louisiana that shares a border with a particular bayou, and I suggested “Broadway Joe” as the answer for a sportsballer question (both of my suggestions would have been correct).

I’ll be sure to cruise around a bit before the game to see who put up Halloween decorations in Milan! That’s one of the big reasons I wanted to play before October was over with.
