In Halloween, 2006, a couple of friends and I dressed as advertising mascots – my husband was the Geico Caveman, my friend Sam was the “Can You Hear Me Now?” guy from Verizon Wireless (who now whores himself out to Sprint) and I was a Capital One barbarian. I basically spent the whole night asking people “What’s in YOUR wallet?” Even random people on the street (I had WAY too much fun in this costume)! I came in second place in a costume contest at Conor O’Neill’s in Ann Arbor (which was applause-based)! I lost out to a group of Ghostbusters. Here is the only photo from that night, which was taken by a random dude on his cell phone and e-mailed to me!
