Choose Your Own Pub Trivia Category? That’s So Crazy It Just Night Work!

Sporcle Live announced a promo where players can e-mail them suggestions for trivia categories that you love, read more about that here (copied and pasted from their post on Facebook):

**Good news: it’s your chance to choose the trivia category!**

Music, movies, television… Science, religion, language… Sports, games, holidays… Geography, history, literature… These are some of the categories we quiz you on regularly.

But have you ever craved a question about something else, perhaps that one niche topic you’d use the 10 point slip on every time?

Email brand.engagement@sporcle.com and tell us what you’d like to be quizzed about. It can be as broad or specific as you’d like. We’ll do some polling and pick our favorite(s), then we’ll write questions about it and ask them every day for a whole week!

Here are some of the topics I’d send to them:

  • Savage Steve Holland films
  • Animaniacs
  • Celebrity Deaths
  • Simpsons quotes
  • ’80s New Wave music
  • Pee Wee’s Big Adventure
  • Buffy the Vampire Slayer
  • The X-Files
  • Little House on the Prairie
  • Michigan history
  • Nude Scenes in Movies
  • Disasters
  • Classic Rock
  • Phil Hartman
  • J.R.R. Tolkien
  • Star Wars (episodes IV-VI not the crappy ones made afterwards)
  • World Cup host countries
  • Solid State Technology
  • Monty Python skits
  • The Great Lakes
  • Early ’90s alternative music
  • Valuable Playboy Magazine Covers
  • Best Picture winners
  • Fight Club

Wait…I forgot about the first rule of Fight Club!
