I was chatting  online  over  the  weekend  with  the captain  of a trivia  team on  which I’ll be “subbing” for her in a little  more  than  a month. She said another  player  approached  her  about  the possibility  of  playing  on  her  team. I don’t  know  what  she  told  this  other  player, but  she  told  me  she has  no  intention  of subbing  me  out. Her  reason  was, “You seemed  to mesh  so  well  with  my team.”

However  -if one  of the  other  3 couldn’t play, I would  definitely  recommend  she  give  this  other  player  a spot!

I guess  there  is  some  truth  to  what  she said  about  me! We did seem to “click” pretty  well. And I did help  them place  in  the  top  4!

Considering  that  my  own team  recently  got edged  out  of the upcoming  Sporcle state  championship, this little  bit  of good news  makes  me feel…pretty  damned good!

Ah, this  lovely  spell of  deliciously  fantastic  weather  is actually  making  me look  forward  to visiting  the  in-laws  this  weekend (IKR). I  am such a “champion” of staring  at  the Muskegon  River – and playing  with  the kitties, lol… (must  make sure  I have  enough  Claritin).
