I found a fun activity for today! We’re going to park our car in a park near Ann Arbor today and take a walk into town to check out a… Cinco de Mayo block party! The sun is shining, it’s “shorts” weather, and…do I need to list any other reasons to do this today? I don’t think so!

I think I might have to wear something green today! Viva La Mexico! Did you know I have blood relatives whom are Mexican? Yes, my cousin married a man of Mexican descent nearly 40 years ago. Their granddaughter is currently attending the University of Michigan on a full-ride scholarship, after having graduated with a 4.0 grade point average. This means I have TWO female relatives who are graduating/have graduated recently with 4.0 GPAs.

That’s kind of cool! I’ll drink to that!
