We learned Thursday night that our frequent “guest” player Evan will be moving to the Farmington/Farmington Hills area soon (he currently resides in Ann Arbor and commutes to Northville). It’s unclear what this will do to our trivia nights with him, though he has said that he will still want to come out for trivia nights at Sticks, which is a very close trivia spot for our players and a place he enjoys playing. We’ve managed to win prizes there nearly every time we play with him in the mix.

Sadly, he probably will not be able to play at Oscar’s or Original Gravity after he moves! Another of our players, Dave, does manage to be able to escape for trivia nights when his “daddy” duties allow, and does enjoy the OG scene – so don’t count the ‘Pods out of all of your upcoming trivia fights at OG just yet! We’ll try to come out just often enough to give those other teams a bit of a “what for!”

Once Evan gets settled into his new digs, we just might have to go on an “away mission” and hit up a Farmington Hills trivia spot! Years ago, I used to work at a newspaper office in downtown Farmington, so if nothing else, it will be a nostalgia trip for me…

We’ve always tried adapting our trivial pursuits to accommodate our players. When we had a few players living in Ann Arbor, we played in Ann Arbor quite a bit (until they all moved away or pursued other interests).
