We finally got around to putting up our Cthristmas tree today…We tried buying more rubber tentacles today at a downtown Ypsilanti store called The Rocket, but wouldn’t you know it…they were ALL out of the green ones! Imagine that! Is it a hot holiday gift item? Or do other people use them to decorate their Christmas trees, too? I’ll have to check in next week to see if they’ve restocked. Nonetheless, we made do with the ones we already had, but we want to make it even MORE tentacled. Stay tuned!

Here’s a close-up view of an octopus ornament a friend gave us. I adorned it with little battery powered string lights and turned it into our tree topper. Remember – you’re never fully dressed without a smile!
