The Sporcle Events season is coming to an end, and we’re still sitting firm at second place in the music quiz standings at our Monday games at Arbor Brewing Company.
I know that second place is hardly brag worthy 🙄, but since we are a team that often just has a couple of players answering the questions, it’s pretty darn good that we’ve held onto second place! Most teams playing have four players or more on average on any given music quiz night.
As for us? We have four players on a GOOD night! Sometimes Kim’s old college friends show up to help out – bonus when their kids also come out! 😁
It’s great having the “kiddos” help out on recent music questions!
Usually, it’s just me and Kim answering the questions covering decades of music. Most of which I don’t know anything about 🙄
My husband also joins us, but he’s not really a music guy. Occasionally he’ll help with random nerd points!
For the most part, Kim and I team up well in covering the bases. Honestly, she does most of the “heavy lifting” on Sporcle music trivia nights. I’m really not much more than a session musician.
To keep my trivia addiction satisfied, I like to go out for “regular” trivia games on other nights.
Usually going out for a My Trivia Live game at McShane’s satisfies that “urge” for me.
However, I occasionally get a little bored when things get too monotonous. Which is why I need to play those occasional Sporcle Events “regular trivia” games. My husband hates them (he prefers MTL). But…a trivia junkie gal’s gotta do what she’s gotta do!
That’s why I have a Sporcle game on the calendar happening very soon! 😊
Gotta scratch that itch…
