Trivia Recap – October 30, 2026 – McShane’s Pub – My Trivia Live – Ypsilanti, MI

Happy Halloween everyone!

Did you all know that’s it’s the 100th anniversary of Harry Houdini’s death? I didn’t know that until something about it popped up in my news feed this morning!

He died during a stunt in Detroit, which means if he has a ghost, it’s likely close to where I live👻

Unless ghosts travel 🤔

This recap is actually two days later than usual, I was just a little too tired on Devils Night. Plus I wanted to be able to watch my favorite Devils Night movie – which is The Crow! No, not the recent remake with the guy who played the new Pennywise.

OG Crow only for me please!

The only way this movie would be more Gen-X was if Winona Ryder was in it. And who would want to see her be the victim of the vicious gang of thugs in this movie?

McShane’s has two My Trivia Live nights – Tuesday – and Thursday. We played the Thursday edition. Trivia crowds were a bit light on this night. Maybe a lot of folks were busy carving their pumpkins?

We won a third place/$10 prize.
