Hello…Again…Hello!

I don’t apologize for my taste in music – or Razzy-winning films!😁 I inexplicably got this overblown sappy ballad in my head recently which sadly is not unusual for me! I listened to it yesterday…

I finally have a moment to rest after a very busy couple of weeks. Not only work, but a music festival last weekend.

It was my first sober Wheatland Music Festival! I’ve had my share of…not so sober Wheatlands for πŸ˜ƒ

Early 2000s in the always wild “Lost World” campground known for being a party atmosphere. My friend here was a willing participant in this lame imitation of 50 Shades shenanigans. I just liked the name of this campground because it reminded me of Jurassic Park!πŸ˜ƒΒ  πŸ¦•

I work in “Retailville,” and my store has been getting slammed lately with holiday merchandise. Decor, gift items, even holiday themed bathroom accessories (yes some folks are THAT dedicated.)😩

No wonder that by the time Christmas actually arrives, I’m already SO over it 😭 This is why January is among my favorite months (October ranks first). November ranks as my least favorite month.

How busy, have I been, you might ask? πŸ€”

For two weeks in a row, I was too busy/ tired to get out for any trivia games besides my Monday Sporcle music quiz games. 🫩

Those are definitely not enough to satisfy my trivia “itis.” I barely contribute to those games, most questions tend to be about eras and genres of music I don’t know a damn thing about.

That is not to say that I don’t enjoy the weekly meetups! I really do – unless a hectic work day makes me crabby like Lucy!

Alas, typically even my most terrible moods, like spells of Michigan weather, are usually short lived.

I plan to go out for a “real” trivia game next week (or sooner) since my schedule loosens up a bit.

I’m also excited to report that we’ll be taking the weekend off soon for a local cabin trip!

We haven’t been to this cabin since 2019. This one overlooks a lake!

Outdoor activities always help keep me grounded and calm. I love being out in nature and love staring at water (must be because I’m an Aquarius if you buy into that zodiacal nonsense β™’).

Whether you believe in astrological BS or not, Aquarians have been known to be compatible with Gemini and Sagittarius folks – and sure enough, some of my closest friends (including some longtime friends) are those zodiac signs.

That is all I have to say for now – lest this turn into a silly astrological blog πŸ˜†.

I’ll try making some more time for blogs in the near future! πŸ’―
