Mother’s Day week is upon us. And with that brings a big change in our trivia routines!

I finally have a Thursday off at work and since I’ll actually be home and not out of town…

Mcahanes for trivia, then?

We haven’t played here for about a month and a half. I’m looking forward to getting back there!

We’re still trucking along in playing Sporcle Events music quiz games each Monday. Also regular Sporcle Events games every Tuesday at Red Rock Barbecue.

Honestly, it’s almost getting “too” routine for me! I am prone to getting bored when trivia routines have run their course. Keeping things mixed up helps  keep me from getting too antsy 🐜

I love the weekly music games, even if I am definitely the strongest player for it. My music knowledge is decent, as long as they don’t ask about anything recorded in the past 30 years 😆

We’ll probably still play occasionally at Red Rock after the season is done, but maybe not every week.

My husband actually prefers My Trivia Live games to Sporcle Events games. Also, he’s just not as into trivia as I am (I know, I know – why are we still married then 😂).

Speaking of MTL, congrats to the recent cash winners in the recent championship game May 9. They were Motorboating Doris, Sexy Hand Sandwich and Beat the Limit. I don’t know who any of these teams are, and that’s wonderful, in a way  🤔

I’d love to know what their final q was, maybe I’ll have to ask Francis next time I see him!

As for my husband and his dislike of trivia, he’s like an ABBA song and is a Super Trouper (sometimes a peetty cranky one 😂). He’s gone to every tournament with me, and usually goes out to at least one game a week with me. He actually helps out quite a lot!

It’s all about finding a compromise sometimes, isn’t it?
