After winning first place in a trivia game tonight our victory was sullied by having the host inform us that a couple of trivia teams complained to them that one of our players went to the restroom during the final question. After he’d handed the answer in personally to the host. He put the slip in the host’s hand THEN went to the restroom.
Total bullshit. State the ground rules regarding restroom breaks, clearly and we’ll fucking follow them.
We’ll be playing elsewhere for our trivial pursuits next week but only because of prearranged plans, not because of this.
Seriously what a way to ruin our night! We’re still happy about our one player who knew the final answer!
In closing, I’ll say this (ahem):
We’re officially instituting a “no bathroom breaks during trivia games” rule on our trivia team from now on. We’d rather piss ourselves than be accused by other teams of cheating!😭

If your answer is in, it shouldn’t be an issue. the host should have told those teams that your answer was already in at that point. Some people think the only way that they can lose is if they are somehow cheated.
