We’re four weeks into the new Sporcle Events trivia season and have played four times – once at our supposed “regular” trivia spot – YpsiAlehouse, once at Sticks and twice at the Corner Brewery. Our “plan” is to try playing the minimum or more of the games to qualify for end of season Globe Games at the Alehouse, though if we wind up also qualifying at a secondary spot as well? Shrugs!

Sadly, we haven’t won any prizes yet this season…we’ll do our best to make sure this trend doesn’t continue! We did play two games at a very competitive spot dominated by megateams where my 2-3 person teams didn’t have much of a chance. We’ve never shied away from trivia competition, though swimsuit and dance competitions might scare us a bit!

We’ll be back at the Alehouse after a two week absence Sunday, February 4. Since the Lions are not in the Super Bowl Sunday February 11, I don’t plan on calling off trivia that afternoon. It’s my birthday, so I’ll definitely want to do what I want that day! Though I may let Brad have an excused absence if he wishes to watch the Super Bowl instead.

Looking way ahead to Sporclecon in Detroit, I have no plans to try bringing players to that. It just isn’t our budget to do any pay to play games unless I get a lucky scratch off!
