Mini Recap of March 8 Trivia Game

Hey readers. Please know that I love and appreciate you all! All of that said, we held our own in a very competitive room – 19 total teams – finishing in seventh overall with 91 total points and a very precious third place $5 prize in game one.

We failed on both final questions but wagered conservatively on both of them – six points on the TV channels final in game one, and zero on the NBA final in game two. had our “Three Amigos” lineup with myself, Mike and Brad, which for years was pretty much our most reliable core lineup. How nice it was to meet again for only the second live trivia game we’d played in together since before the plague. We failed on both final questions but wagered conservatively on both of them – six points on the TV channels final in game one, and zero on the NBA final in game two.

All I could remember about the channel Dallas originally aired on was that it wasn’t ABC, the network which aired the original Dynasty series, which I watched avidly with my mom. I figured two competing nighttime soaps like those would not run on the same network. That doesn’t mean we picked the right network, alas, we went with eenie meanie instead of miney moe and picked NBC instead of CBS. Sometimes those coin tosses fail.

I’ll have a full recap of that game posted no later than this weekend. I’m working longer and later shifts than usual the next couple of days, and have been really swamped at work. This old gal is pretty pooped when she gets home from work! And ugh, having another winter weather event bollocksing up Friday’s commute is likely to make me a tad testy!

Thanks as always for reading!
