Wishing That Stores That Sell Board Games Could Be Open Right Now!

My hair is getting a bit shaggy, but I’m willing to wait until it’s safe to go to a professional to get it cut. I can wait until movie theaters open up again to see a movie on the “big screen.” I can even wait for bars and restaurants to open up “for reals” again.

What else do I want? I want for stores selling board games and supplies to be able to open up for curbside pickup and online orders. A shit ton of people are sitting bored at home. If I find a board game I want to buy, I want to be able to support a LOCAL business – call up said business, have them take my credit card number and either grab it from a shelf – or order it for me to pick up. I give THEM my money, I help keep a local business going, and the nights at home are all the more bearable. I don’t want to give my money to Amazon unless there is no other choice! Jeff Bezos is rich enough…

There are a couple of these types of stores near me – Vault of Midnight in Ann Arbor – and Fun 4 All in Ypsilanti. They’ve had to close their doors since they’re not “essential.” Yes, I get it. Maybe if some of the restrictions wind up getting lifted – AND people are still asked to stay at home – they can open up for limited business.

That is all!
