Congratulations  to my longtime dear friend Sam for being  named director of production for Silverhand Meadery in Williamsburg, VA! This means he has transitioned from scientist to…meader!

He has been living  in the Hamptons area  of Virginia with his wife since 2014. He previously  lived in Ann Arbor, MI and before  that, New York state.

My only wish is that the mead his company  makes be tastier than anything  in Elrond’s private reserve!

I haven’t tried mead too many times, but when I do, it makes me feel like…prancing with  unicorns and throwing glitter around!
