I’m  almost done watching  season 1 of the Epix series “Get  Shorty.” Our cable  provider is offering a free preview.

Wow….just WOW. It’s  terrific! Great performances, great  story and terrifying  AF! You never know who’s  going to get whacked, beaten  up, strongarmed, etc. Female Mexican crime queenpin has more balls than  Vito Corleone… criminal and aspiring filmmaker Chris O’Dowd is equal parts honeydripper and thug – and poor hapless B movie producer Ray Romano is caught  in the the  middle of it all.

Like stories about moviemaking, crime lords and (yawn) relationships, give this a look!
