I had  a customer  ask about where to find shopping  carts today. On the busiest shopping  day of the year.  I politely  said that they were probably all in use, but told him where to look. I also said, “You can strongarm one away from another customer  if you  want. Just tell me first so I can get  a front row  seat. I could use some excitement.”

He walked  by me a short  time  later  with an empty  shopping cart. I didn’t  ask how he got it!
