If you thought this was going to be a quiz about who invented the difference engine, who invented the first phonograph and who invented the first printing press (presumably the start of pornography, lol) – you’re wrong! Though it WILL be good to have a basic knowledge of famous inventors!
What you’ll need to do in this quiz is simply provide the names of inventors based on clues given in the question! All answers will be names of inventors (or in some cases – which will be specified – the names of people who successfully marketed famous products – and may be more famous than the inventors themselves). Also, there may be some slight changes in name spellings between the people/things asked about in the clues and the answers you’ll need to provide.

10. Characters in Song – Last name of the serial killer “Maxwell” in the son Maxwell’s Silver Hammer by The Beatles and inventor of a key item essential to the movie industry. And this was the thing that inspired this whole quiz!
