A post I’m  following  on  a Michigan  craft beer  enthusiasts  board on Facebook just  had  the “Godfather of Michigan Beer” chime in on the post. Yes, THE Larry James Bell, founder of Bell’s Beer!

Apparently, Bell’s has been unable to distribute  in Virginia, which has bothered some beer drinkers down there…especially Michigan  expatriates. I can speak first hand about Virginia’s craft beer scene not comparing to Michigan’s  craft beer scene – not by a long shot. Though  it has come quite a way, from what I hear!

Larry Bell said this dispute could drag on for a while. Maybe I’ll  have  to drive down some truck loads of Bell’s  Two Hearted to Virginia to sell to the highest  bidders (JK)! Hey, runnin’ hooch is in my blood (great grandparents  were bootleggers). Where did I put my overalls?

Maybe some day I’ll  meet this “beerlebrity!” 😆
