Lame Attempt at Blue Hour Photo…

My husband rode with me to work Tuesday morning, which is a rarity. It was nice having some company on my early ride to work! He told me about the “blue hour” while we were on our ride in (between 5:30 and 6 a.m.). And it occurred to both of us that we were in the midst of the “blue hour” on our drive in! All of this time I’ve worked these ass crack of dawn shifts…and I had no idea that the “blue hour” was a thing! Apparently, it is… you can catch the “blue hour” either before sunrise – or just after sunset.

All of that said, here’s my very first attempt at a blue hour photo shot this morning (keep in mind it was just the camera in my tablet so it is not a very good camera):

I was bored waiting for someone to come unlock the door at work this morning – so I stepped outside to take a “blue hour” photo! I will be attempting more of these now that I know “blue hour” is a thing…
