We went into the current Sporcle Live trivia season without any real trivia “plan.” We didn’t set out to conquer any one particular spot, but as luck would have it, a new trivia spot opened up in mid April. Since we were “top dogs” at the end of the short season – and also played at least eight games elsewhere – we were crowned “venue champions” and got first pick of RSVPs today. I am definitely NOT expecting too much! I would say our chances of advancing to the state championship are  50/50 – at best. And if we do advance, I may not have more than three players for THAT game! I consider it a public service to at least provide the other teams ample opportunity to beat up on the Miskatonic University Fighting Cephalopods! We do love a good trivia “fight,” after all! If we don’t make it to the “championship,” it will be the first time we’ve been shut out of a Sporcle championship since 2013.
