My team *might* be playing a trivia game at the “Corner Brewery” tonight! As of now, I’m not scheduled to work Thursday (I usually work every Thursday), so unless I get called in last minute, I’m thinking…trivia tonight!

It’s really only natural. Me and my trivia “comrades” are usually in that bar Wednesdays when trivia is going on, anyway. I’ve even tried “helping” teams in contention on final questions (usually teams that have three or fewer players).
This used to be our “every week” trivia spot. Until a couple of things happened – our team started losing too many players (four players moved out of state) – and the Corner Brewery “megateams” starting to dominate the place. Megateams are really not that much different from “megafauna,” which means “really huge ass animals – like – monstrously huge.” In South America, giant sloths were a common sight more than 10,000 years ago, before going completely extinct. There is evidence that their tunnels still exist, which are like big caves that humans can explore.

Ancient tunnel thought to have been made by a ground sloth
We all know that sloths are kind of the “fashionable” animal right now, don’t we? No, you didn’t know? Where have YOU been? Flamingos are also quite fashionable right now, though llamas seem to be falling out of favor. That’s OK – llamas will always have a special place in my heart because of the fact that they’ll spit on ya if you irritate them! I like animals with attitude!
Yes, those tree-climbing, slow-moving sloths that are so fashionable right now are…cute. But did you know they used to come “superdupermegasized” for only $1 more? Behold:

Comparison of giant sloth to a puny human. I want to clone one and keep it as a pet! Though people wouldn’t appreciate me taking it to an arboretum or forest so it could eat!
I’m currently trying to to summon “the troops” for tonight’s game. So far I have…two players! We’ll see what happens!
