It seems a couple of my trivia compadres seem to really like the new Monday trivia nights at Sticks. And I like a trivia night where I can hustle at least three players with… no fuss ‘n muss! So Monday trivia nights will continue for the forseeable future.
Thursday, we plan to play the Simpsons theme trivia night at Haymaker Ann Arbor. Stopping in at Sticks afterwards for its Sporcle trivia is NOT being ruled out (as long as Evan gets there and signs us in and starts the party). Thursday is a good chance for us to “beat up” on some MTL rivals whom I will not name here!
I am glad tournaments are done for now! Driving out to Woodhaven for the MTL finals wasn’t fun (what the hell is up with all of those silly “connectors”…grrr). I don’t *usually* day drink, but I kind of “needed” that vodka/soda when I arrived to settle my nerves! When Greg offered to buy me a second drink during the final question brainstorming, I should’ve told him yes! But by then I was so starved that I knew I didn’t want any booze touching my stomach until I’d eaten. I don’t tend to like eating during trivia games/tournaments.

Eliza Duskhu as Faith on Buffy the Vampire Slayer (Faith is also a vampire slayer).
I have heard that a Buffy the Vampire Slayer theme trivia night is planned May 16 at Haymaker! What better way to usher in my wedding anniversary weekend (and road trip to Pentwater) than a vampire themed trivia night? I’m “five by five” with that!
See y’all in the next blog post…or game recap!
