Thanks to all of you readers who bothered to tune into this blog even while I was “tuned out” for a couple of days! I had a very nice time on our cabin trip, and proved the lyrics wrong to the Abba song Waterloo:
Waterloo…couldn’t escape if I wanted to…
Our cabin trip was in the sprawling Waterloo Recreation Area, which is the largest state park in the “lower half” of Michigan. I believe the Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park (in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula) exceeds Waterloo in total area.
Well, this morning turned rainy – and even a bit icy – so it was actually easy to escape!
Here are a few photos of me relaxing on the trip, I’ll be posting a more detailed blog about the trip a bit later…SPOILER – you will learn how my deciding to sleep in the top bunk allowed me to uncover a dirty little “secret” about the cabin!
