No Walk Today (Feb. 14, 2019)

I didn’t take any fitness walks today. In the past five days, I’ve logged about 265 minutes of walking time, which far exceeds the 150 minute recommended weekly minimum for fitness walking.

I plan to get out for walks Friday and Saturday! Today’s timing just wasn’t right because of my later work shift and having things to do right when I got out of work (mainly celebrating that my husband got a raise at work)!

I’m still sticking to my New Year’s resolution and taking regular walks! I may not be walking every single day, but my pace has improved greatly, I’m slimming down a bit (clothes are fitting better), and it’s taking a lot more exertion to get me “winded.” It will be nice to be able to take walks outside in DECENT weather, even if it is great fun to get all bundled up in winter gear (not)! I also look forward to Daylight Savings Time and having a bit more daylight, too!

My husband asked me a while back what I wanted for my birthday. I told him I wanted an annual Huron Clinton Metroparks car pass. Jesus, I’m SO materialistic, aren’t I? I also kind of want a blu-ray copy of Dark Shadows!
