Second place going into final #1 with 51 points (ugh) wagered zero and knew the answer – had to match the authors with the directors who made films of their books – Winston Groome, Margaret Mitchell, Roald Dahl and Mario Puzo. Had to match up with the directors Robert Zemeckis, Victor Fleming, Wes Anderson and Francis Ford Coppola. Wagered zero. D’erp. Second round final had us being in fifth and wagering everything on world geography question (and getting it right) – name three nations starting with the letter E that are the largest in area (those geography quizzes we’ve been taking have been paying off). No prizes, only had three players with no sports ringers. Oh well, the world will end Friday so no more trivia, right?
