Our first trivia night of the new My Trivia Live season is tonight! We managed to finish in first at Powell’s Pub last season, and will be vying for a finals spot in about three weeks at the semifinals. We’ll be attempting to conquer Powell’s for a second consecutive season starting tonight. Thursdays, we’ll be playing Sporcle Live games at Original Gravity Brewing in Milan, where we will attempt to win our second tournament spot by qualifying here (we won a spot here last summer). This has become our unofficial “warm weather” place for trivia because of the longer drive, which keeps us from playing here very often in the colder months. In the Sporcle Live league championship April 15, we made our best showing in years by finishing in fourth in the state of Michigan’s “west” division, which includes teams from Lansing, Grand Rapids, Ann Arbor, Kalamazoo, Ypsilanti, Milan, Saline, etc.  We’re still figuring out where our “plan B” Sporcle trivia spot will be this season, occasional Oscar’s games are probably still going to be planned, though not this coming weekend. Tuesday games at Cultivate may happen occasionally, too (weather permitting, as those games are scheduled in a tent outdoors). Check in Tuesday for a recap of tonight’s game. Go Pods!
