As part of “sweeps” month, what better thing to watch than the Sporcle Live standings Wednesdays at Arbor Brewing Company (Ypsilanti)? It might not be QUITE as exciting as “Tiny House Nation,” or “America’s Got Talent,” but only to the casual watcher! Let’s take a look at the standings, for just a taste, showing the current top five teams and their respective league points going into tonight’s game:

Kind of looks like anything could happen, right? DFTSYB could make a move to unseat top dogs Ennui, or Ennui could rock a couple of perfect rounds to secure their lead, effectively shooing away the teams nipping at their heels. Teams #3-#5 are REALLY going to be the ones to watch, with just one point separating each of them. To try boosting our ratings for sweeps month, we brought in popular guest star Archie, who has appeared in quite a few episodes of our “shows” over the years. We’ve actually had quite a few “guest stars” from other trivia teams playing with us over the past few years, here are some of them:

Nielsen tells us that viewers always seem to enjoy the lively banter among our teammates – whether it’s bickering about how many points to wager, or whether “The Cannonball Run” movie was something listed as one of the American Film Institute’s top comedies.
