Merry Christmas from the Wayback Machine! Here are some super old holiday photos…

Me, Christmas, 1972. It was essential for the footed PJs to match the shag carpeting!

My brother Mike (left) and I, Christmas, 1973…mom and dad’s record collection and super awesome solid-state – non Bluetooth enabled stereo equipment can be clearly seen in the background! Note the two colors of tinsel!

Candid shot of me at Grandma and Grandpa’s house, 1973. The blue wide-wale corduroys do NOT match the carpeting, lol…the toy I am holding looks like a Fisher-Price wind-up radio, or music box, as pictured below.

We replaced the green shag carpeting that came with our house in 1978 or 1979, so this has to be sometime before then. Me opening an unknown gift, most likely a book! I loved books! Our basement had red shag carpeting that also wound up being replaced with vinyl flooring (split level homes were famous for having “moist” basements).
