James Bond songs – and the people who sang them

My buddy Brad and I were talking at a recent trivia night about the people who have sung/performed James Bond theme songs. So here’s a list of all the people who have sung about the guy with the licence to kill…and not to mention a way with the ladies! Lots and lots of ladies. So. Many. Ladies. And didn’t Javier Bardem even try making out with him in Skyfall?

Can Javier Bardem make ONE movie where his hair doesn’t look super weird? And just to prove my point…yes, he is clearly coming on to Bond…James Bond.

Why this guy doesn’t have VD…seriously he has a sexual addiction nearly as rampant as David Duchovny’s. But I digress..and here’s the list…

Dr. No, 1962, “Kingston Calypso,” Monte Norman.

Ursula Andress, Dr. No – that bikini belongs in the Smithsonian! And I want that knife!

From Russia With Love, 1963, instrumental theme by John Barry (a James Bond mainstay). He also composed the soundtrack for the 1990 film Dances with Wolves.

Goldfinger, 1964, Shirley Bassey. Read on, you’ll see that she’s involved with LOTS of Bond films – starring both Connery and Moore!
