Trivia Recap – Aug. 19, 2016, Original Gravity

I offer no apologies for having what can be described as a “low-brow” sense of humor. Jokes about farts and poo? Yes, they can be funny! The “Ruprecht” scene in “Dirty Rotten Scoundrels,” where Steve Martin pretends to be Michael Caine’s “special” brother as a ploy to ward off having to commit to women? Gets me very time. Love the “Naked Gun” movies, and “Airplane!” And in college? I became addicted to “Beavis and Butthead.” I remember walking by dorm rooms where I could overhear college guys laughing along to Beavis and Butthead’s distinctive chuckles. Ah, those were the days, when one could get their laughter fix by watching “Ren and Stimpy,” “The Tick,” “Animaniacs,” and “Beavis and Butthead.” Us Gen X’ers who grew up watching “Looney Tunes” cartoons didn’t have to grow up and stop watching cartoons – we had a whole new set of cartoons to watch! Thursday at Original Gravity Brewing Co. I was rewarded for liking ‘Beavis and Butthead” enough to actually go out and see the feature-length film about them. In the theaters…So what was the question? I’ll get to that! I wound up tying for second overall for the night with 114 points, tied with More Beer Less Pants. Yes, ties are like kissing your brother…(ewww!) or sister. I may love my brother, but I’m not “in love” with him, lol. And the questions!
