First off full disclosure, I’m coming out as a huge fan of Lynyrd Skynyrd. Go ahead and make fun, but yeah I like some southern rock. So tragic what happened to this band. At least they likely lived long enough to be a great influence to another band I like –  The Black Crowes.

All of that being said, I was doing some choring in the kitchen earlier,  and I was listening to a “deep cuts” classic rock station. And “Don’t Ask Me No Questions” by Skynyrd came on. The lyrics in the chorus are “Don’t ask me…no questions…and I won’t tell you no lies.”

Right then and there I dedicated the song to her – specifically her refusal to say “no” when questioned by Congress about whether she had sexual relations with that man. 😉
