Low key Valentine’s Day. We stayed in – ate some treats and watched 10 Things I Hate About You (which is about as rom-commy as I get). Now we’re watching the former Bram Stoker’s Dracula, now just called… Dracula. First movie we watched in theater together when we dated.

Did you know the entire film was made in California? Because of some poor box office showings of Coppola films in the 80s, (Rumble Fish, Cotton Club, Tucker?) he felt doing it all in L.A. would allow plenty of oversight from producers.

Also the entire movie was storyboarded – and Keanu Reeves was basically a token “hunk” placed for the interest of female viewers.

Me when I was 20? I was more interested in seeing Gary Oldman 😘 😂
