We’ve gotten off to a slow start for this new Sporcle Events trivia season. The bar where we normally play our Monday music trivia nights canceled the event for two weeks, which made us trivia junkies scramble to make other arrangements!

As for this coming week, my husband and I plan to use some leftover prize money to play at a local Sporcle Events spot.

We’re hoping that the $20 prize I have in my purse covers at least ONE of their cocktails!

Honestly – when did $15 cocktails – or in some cases even more –  become the new normal in my town? Even zero proof cocktails can set ya back $8! It’s not a fancy destination town, FFS! 

Have the rents become too high in my town? What gives? 🤔

Ah I’d rather answer trivia questions! Good old general knowledge ones!

As for later in the week, I’ve made no trivia plans so far, it will be a game day decision.
