I may only  have three players but…

Meh. I signed up my team for a Globe Game spot today. A live game this time!

Last summer, my husband and I were on vacation during the Globe Games, so we “attempted” to play remotely – and virtually.

That was a disaster! Too much ambient noise, too much glare on my device, a snarky host…

Clearly we were NOT in our element! We had never attempted to do a virtual game anywhere but in our home before.

To make things worse, Ididn’t know the game was two hours long (most virtual games are just one hour). We had made plans to visit one of Mike’s cousins so we had to leave after game one!

One and done! Trying to do a virtual game using public internet again? Nope!

The coffee shop we found in Northport, MI did have excellent Internet service! I was able to quickly download the latest version of Zoom before the game started.

Still though – so much easier to just show up – and play 😂
