Is This 2019? I’m Doing “No Drink November” – Again!Β 

I’m doing this voluntarily! πŸ‘

Since I had a cardiac related medical emergency last week, I’ve decided to really crack down on my health for the month of November. And beyond that if my willpower holds out – and I see positive results!

I did something similar in 2019 – but I only lasted until Black Friday. Hey – I work a retail job and had a very challenging new hire at the time! It was amazing that I lasted that long! 😁

I have to see a cardiologist December 5, ugh…talk about the ultimate adulting chore!

Seriously though… I’m… alive. I guess that’s the important thing here, right?

To reiterate, no doctors have told me not to drink – or to watch my diet. I’m doing this on my own accord.

If I do go out to anyΒ  bars during this time, I’ll go to places that have decent NA beer or “mocktail” options. I’ll at least want to “appear” that I’m enjoying drinks with friends! Smoke and mirrors?

Tomorrow will be Day Seven of no alcohol and healthy eating!

Will someone PLEASE gimme a sticker or something?

Pro tip – put cucumbers in a glass of club soda with ice and a little juice. It is a very refreshing dupe for a real cocktail! Use the English cucumbers (so juicy)!

I have a refreshing non alcoholic drink to drink waiting for me, so over ‘n out!
