Here’s my lame attempt at both a bathroom selfie and an “Eleven” pose from “Stanger Things.”

Aiden Hutchinson from the Detroit Lions definitely wore it better 😀 Has anyone else seen his take on Eleven?

I just spent 22 hours in a local hospital recently following a medical emergency. I’m not sharing a lot of gory details here, but once I’m settled back  into a routine and have caught up on sleep, I’ll be happy to talk about the ordeal with anyone in person or via messaging.

Thankfully nothing horrible was revealed about my health during the ordeal, but I’m grateful that the hospital staff went over me with more gusto than if I were a prize pig at a county fair – or a dog winning best in show at Westminster. On Devil’s Night, I watched the 2007 Rob Zombie remake of Halloween on my room TV. Later, I streamed the 1995 movie Casper on my phone. I kind of needed a nice PG movie to watch right before bed! And adolescent Christina Ricci is so adorable!

Boy are my sleeping and eating patterns out of whack! I just slept 8 hours and got up for “breakfast” at 2 a.m. and am awake! Not the best way to spend Halloween, that’s for sure 😢
