For the third time in the past year (give or take), my trivia team has qualified for the My Trivia Live semifinals!

We’ll be vying for a finals spot at McShane’s Pub in Ypsi, MI. My teammates are excited about it!

Well, except for my occasionally grumpy husband who doesn’t like to do anything before noon on weekends!

Truth be told, though (sorry if this gets too mushy for ya), he loves me, and he’s been my “Number One” for trivial pursuits for the past decade…ish (and also life in general)!

He has said, “Trivia gives me something to do while I’m in the bar!”

He has proven to be an invaluable trivia “pardner” despite his claims about not being a huge fan of trivia. We complement each other well and have won countless trivia prizes as just a duo.

Just last night when I played by myself, I wound up needing him for at least one answer (I went with Arctic Ocean instead of Bering Sea for five points…ouch)!

He does know more about Native lore and geography than I do!

No relationship is perfect by any means, but I’ve never played without him at my side if it’s my team in contention at a tournament.

He really is my “Number One!”
